The Making of Daniel Dennis’ “The Summertime Revival” Studio Album

It has been four years since I released my 2006 EP “Summertime Vibes”, and I thought it’d be fun to put together another album. For my own music, I like to do everything myself: record, play all the instruments, mix, master, design and print. One of the advantages obviously is keeping cost down, but mainly, it serves as a snapshot for where I am, at this moment, as a musician, singer, writer, and engineer. In the video below, I’ve documented each step of how I made my new album, “The Summertime Revival”.

“The Summertime Revival” was recorded at my studio in Nashville, Prime Cut Studio, from March to May 2010.
